Meet Cody English who turned 13 on July 27th, 2007. He was an active loveable young man who had good grades, lots of friends and a normal life until he was diagnosed with stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma when he was 11. Taking this interruption in his life in stride, he fearlessly battled cancer for what felt like an eternity to a child his age.

He had an aggressive 54-week treatment plan that started in April of 2006. He was given chemotherapy near daily and had 29 radiation treatments. Throughout this difficulty with the grace of God and praying friends and family, his spirits were mostly up and he fought the good fight.

In May of 2007 he was pronounced cancer-free. His life returned to the normalacy he enjoyed before treatment. Then 90 days later, bad news came after his 3-month evaluation when the tests showed that the cancer was back. Tumors were found in his lungs, pancreas, abdomen and chest.

A new protocol was put into place and on Thursday August 16th Cody began Round Two of his bout with this ugly disease. This is going to be a tough fight with some drastic intervention. We, his parents and extended family have promised Cody that HE DOESN'T HAVE TO DO THIS ALONE! Therefore, we set up this website to welcome all who come to visit. There are ways you can help and we hope some parts of our website will bless and inspire you. Join us in Round Two of this battle and you too can help Cody not go at this alone!
